Alis Aquilae (On Eagles’ Wings) has been the motto of the Churchie community for over 100 years. These simple words have underpinned our strong collaborative community spirit, enabling us to continue our vision of providing a world class education for our young men. This same spirit has seen countless generations of Old Boys, parents, staff and the broader school community generously support the Churchie Foundation.
Membership of the Churchie Foundation is an opportunity to Invest in the Spirit of Churchie and leave a lasting legacy. Cumulative contributions can be made through donations of $5,000 or more.
Churchie’s mission, the Making of Men, serves and supports Canon Morris’ vision to make every boy who attends Churchie a faithful, honourable, decent and hardworking man. The Churchie Foundation is the conduit for benefactors to establish and maintain bursaries which strike to the core of that mission. The provision of financial assistance to Churchie families through bursaries extends to current and potential students, including those from rural and remote parts of Australia. This support assists those who, as a result of unforeseen events or circumstances, may otherwise have to leave the school for financial reasons, be unable to attend.
Each boy has his own story. Churchie shapes those who pass through it into young men, who end up in all walks of life as leaders and servants to the common good.
