Donald attended Churchie from 1974 to 1978. After Churchie, he completed a Bachelor of Science at UQ with Honours and then commenced work with US healthcare company Abbott Laboratories. After 15 years, including five in the Chicago headquarters, Don and his family returned to Brisbane so that his two sons could attend Churchie and his daughter Somerville House. During this time, he ran two ASX listed biotechnology companies and was on the board of two others as well as the Queensland Biotechnology Advisory Council. In 2009, he rejoined Abbott Laboratories and ran the Haematology business unit in San Francisco for the next six years and before he and Robyn returned to Australia in 2016.

Chris attended Churchie from 1976 to 1983. After completing his Bachelor of Laws degree, he joined TW Biggs & Biggs as an articled clerk and then worked as a judges associate to the future Governor of Queensland, Paul de Jersey AC. Chris has been with international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills for over 20 years, with the last 15 years as a partner in the real estate team. Chris has worked on significant urban development and regeneration projects such the Roma Street Parkland, Riparian Plaza, Boggo Road Urban Village, Queens Wharf and the Brisbane Showgrounds redevelopment.

After completing her schooling at St Margaret’s, Anna obtained a BA from UQ and an MBA from QUT. She has worked in the general management of several professional services firms. She is currently director of a risk management consultancy business and provides management advisory services to a large occupational medical company. Anna has been a volunteer on executive management committees of early education institutions including C&K, Gowrie and Tugulawa Early Education at Bulimba. Anna joined the Churchie community as a parent in 2012, with 4 sons currently at the school. She most recently served as President of the Prep Support Group.

Craig attended Churchie from 1969 to 1975 before joining the family business, Carter & Spencer Group, a leading fresh fruit and vegetable company with operations throughout Australia, New Zealand and United States. Craig is the owner and Executive Chairman of the 89-year-old Company whose twin sons Christopher and Matthew, Churchie 3rd generation Old Boys from 2001 to 2008 now managing the day-to-day operations of the Group.
Craig has served on many industry and government Boards including Produce Marketing Association, and City of Brisbane Investment Corporation (CBIC). Craig’s passion for the Arts resulted in becoming a Board Member of the Australian Ballet from 2009 to 2018, including Chairman of the Foundation, and Chairman of Ballet Theatre Queensland – Australia’s oldest ballet Company.

Steven attended Churchie from 1987 to 1994. In his senior year, he was elected Captain of School. He has two sons currently attending Churchie and a daughter at Brisbane Girls Grammar School. Steven completed his medical degree at Monash University, joined his family’s medical practice in 2004 and continues to work as a general practitioner. He is a current Director of MyKindy and Junior Campus, who operate a number of childcare centres in New Zealand and Australia.

Dr Campbell is the current Churchie Headmaster. He has held a number of honorary positions on working parties and committees in the Anglican Schools Commission of the Diocese of Brisbane and the Australian College of Educators. Dr Campbell holds memberships in the International Baccalaureate Organisation, the International Boys’ Schools Coalition, the Headmasters’ Conference and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the latter of which he is a graduate.

Adam Read attended Churchie from 1980 to 1987. He returned in 2024 as the Director of Business and Finance. He is the Secretary to the School Council as well as Company Secretary for Churchie Foundation Limited and ACGS Nominees Pty Limited.
Adam is a Chartered Accountant and has an extensive background in finance, including roles at Ernst & Young, Terry White Chemists, Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club and Dick Johnson Motor Racing. Adam spent 16 years as the Dean of Business Operations at St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace, where he led the business and finance teams and project managed major building projects. Most recently, he worked as Chief Financial Officer of Country Connect Foundation Limited, establishing the charity to support at-risk youth and the wider Indigenous communities across the Northern Territory.
Adam enjoys spending time with his family, and his leisure interests include AFL, basketball, tennis and golf.
